Shenmue III Enhanced
There’s something truly special in the air—and I believe it’s the shared hope of thousands of people who carry a deep, boundless passion for the Shenmue saga.
I’ve written about it recently, and I feel compelled to return to it now, because just yesterday ININ released the trailer for Shenmue 3 Enhanced and opened pre-orders for all platforms. The game is available in Standard, Collected Limited, and Special editions. I personally grabbed both collector’s editions for Nintendo Switch 2—I simply couldn’t resist.
I can’t wait to experience it both docked and handheld, especially with the boost mode on Switch 2. And I truly hope this release encourages ININ to bring Shenmue I & II to the platform as well. It feels entirely within reach—especially if Shenmue 3 Enhanced performs well enough to justify porting the earlier chapters.
But it’s more than that. This announcement has reignited something powerful within the community. Even those who had grown quiet seem to have awakened again—while the most dedicated fans, of course, never stopped believing. If sales meet—or exceed—expectations, it will send a clear and positive signal to Sega.
From the bottom of my heart, I hope this succeeds. I want to see this saga continue. I want to see it reach the ending it has always deserved.
In the meantime, here are the pre-order links.
