Sensō-ji Temple

The Sensō-ji temple in Tokyo it’s a beautiful, ancient Buddhist structure located in Asakusa and it’s the oldest temple in the city. The road that leads to the main body of the temple it’s crowded by people (well, at least it was before COVID times…) with tons of small shops on both side of the road. You can find pretty much everything in there, especially small good, chopsticks or the typical gadgets loved by the tourists. It’s. It is not rare to find some students who wishes to practice a bit of English, which are usually eager to take a walk with foreigners and tell them a bit about the temple (at the end, they usually gift the foreigners with some cookies :) ).

I took this picture with an X1D and a 45mm handled. I miss this country a lot, and I cannot wait to be able to go back there as soon as possible.
